Sunshine, bathers and pina coladas were impossible to avoid on New Years Day 2004 when the Puff girls took 65 sun-kissed guests to Rottnest Island for dancing, swimming and seal-spotting.

With the tasty boat-rocking beats of Men At Work DJs Jonno Choy and Mr Staf keeping the lower deck in full dance mode, the upper deck provided ample lounge space for the less active guest to laze luxuriously on beanbags and fraternise with fellow Puffs.

With the champagne and cocktails flowing plentifully all day long, it was difficult to pull away from the outdoor bar… but well worth it for the odd swan dive into crystal blue waters and for some, a swim to shore making sand-angels in the gleaming white hills.

The only thing wrong with this event was that it had to end!
